A bachelorette on the water. How to plan it.
A Cancún bachelorette on a private yacht is the kind of day that stops being a trip and starts being a story. This is how the best ones are put together: what the base charter includes, what the groups who do it well add, and the day hour by hour.

Why the yacht
Cancún has no shortage of bachelorette options — rooftops, beach clubs, cenotes, ATVs. The yacht has two things none of them can match: privacy and exclusivity. On a private charter the whole world shrinks to your boat and your group: no DJ you did not choose, no table minimum, no strangers watching your photos. Your crew, your music, 360 degrees of turquoise, and a captain who knows where to anchor.
The detail that makes the difference: tell us the bride’s name and her favourite song before the trip. Small things, arranged in advance, are the ones that get remembered.
The base charter
Six hours on a Sea Ray Sundancer for up to fifteen guests, 10:00 to about 16:00 from Marina Mundo Marino, with captain and crew, 24 waters, 24 sodas and 24 beers, snorkel sets for everyone, fuel and port fees — $1,150 for the boat, about $77 each with a full group. You can bring your own drinks and food; the 180-peso marina fee is paid at the gate.
What the good groups add
All of these are arranged when you book:
- Decorations — $200. Balloons, banner and sashes in the bride’s colours, set up before you board.
- Professional photographer + drone — $300. The content package bachelorette groups book most; you leave with the photographs and the aerial footage. It also comes bundled with a jet-ski hour in the Zamá Signature, from $1,600.
- Catering — $45 a person. Ceviche, guacamole, fruit and sandwiches on board, so nobody leaves the boat for lunch.
- Drinks. The boat already carries 24 beers, 24 soft drinks and 24 waters on ice, and you are welcome to bring your own spirits, wine and mixers; champagne on the swim platform as you step aboard can be arranged when you book.

The day, hour by hour
10:00 — board at Marina Mundo Marino: champagne waiting if you booked it, decorations up, the captain introduces himself, first group photo on the swim platform. 10:15 — depart for Isla Mujeres; music on, sun pads out. 11:00 — the reef; those who want to snorkel go in, the rest stay on the bow. 12:00 — anchor off Playa Norte: swim platform down, lunch on the water if you booked catering, the moment the drone footage comes from. 14:00 — optional hour ashore: the main street, a beach club, a golf cart. 15:15 — the return crossing in the best light of the day. 16:00 — back at the marina, and the evening is yours.
What to tell us when you book
- The date, and a second date you could live with — weekends in high season go first.
- The number of guests, and whether anyone is nervous about the water or motion.
- The bride’s name, her colour, her song.
- Which extras you want: decorations ($200), photographer + drone ($300), catering ($45 a person), champagne.
- Whether you want the Signature — the day charter plus jet skis and the drone crew — instead of the base charter.
A 30% deposit holds the date; free cancellation up to seven days before. The bachelorette page has the booking form.

Yes — spirits, wine, mixers, anything. The boat already carries 24 waters, 24 sodas and 24 beers on ice.
Up to fifteen on the Sea Ray. For larger parties we can sometimes arrange two boats leaving together.
The only motion is the twenty-minute open-water crossing; the stops are in calm water. A tablet at breakfast and a seat at the stern take care of most people.
