Our story
Zamá Charters was built on a simple truth: the best days on the water don’t happen by accident. They are made by people who care — captains and crews our founder came to know over years in Cancún’s water-sports world, long before there was a company.
We are not a booking platform and not a marketplace. We are a small, personally curated network of the operators we trust on the Caribbean coast and in Miami — people we know, have sailed with, and would send our own families out with.

The Isla Mujeres Day Charter includes 6 hours aboard a Sea Ray Sundancer 440 or 455, a licensed captain and crew, 24 bottled waters, 24 sodas, 24 beers, full snorkeling sets for all guests, fuel, and marina fees. You arrive and everything is ready. Open bar upgrades, catering, and drone packages are available as add-ons.
All day charters depart at 10:00am from the marina in Cancún's Hotel Zone and return at approximately 4:00pm. We'll send you the exact GPS coordinates, parking instructions, and what to bring 7 days before your date.
We operate Sea Ray Sundancer 440 and 455 motor yachts — the same vessels you see in our photos. Each holds up to 15 guests. The 455 also features a flybridge helm, extended swim platform, and two staterooms.
Up to 15 guests per charter on the Isla Mujeres day trip. If your group is larger, contact us — we can sometimes arrange two vessels departing together.
Free cancellation up to 7 days before your charter — full refund of your deposit. If the captain has to cancel due to weather or port closure, you receive a full refund or free reschedule. We never operate in unsafe conditions.
The charter already includes 24 waters, 24 sodas, and 24 beers. You're welcome to bring additional food. For a full open bar and catered lunch, ask us about our add-on packages when booking.
Absolutely. We carry life jackets in all children's sizes and our crews are experienced with families. Snorkel gear is available in smaller sizes.
Standard route: depart Hotel Zone marina → cruise to Isla Mujeres → anchor at Playa Norte for swimming and snorkeling → return to marina. The captain adjusts based on conditions and your preferences.
A 30% deposit ($345 for the Isla Mujeres day charter) secures your date. The remaining balance ($805) is paid on the day of the charter at the marina — cash or card. No payment surprises.
Yes — birthday decorations, balloons, custom cakes, professional photographer, drone + GoPro content package, hotel transfers. Mention everything in your special requests when booking and we handle the rest.
Tipping is not required but is deeply appreciated by the captain and crew. A common guideline is 10–15% of the total charter cost if you had a great experience. You can hand it directly to the captain at the end of the day.
